About Me DragonWoman
No filters, no touch-ups — just real me here. I’m DragonWoman.
I could draw before I could even write my name. It started with our cats, dogs, and cows — realistic sketches of the world around me. Writing and reading were always a struggle, and being the odd one out at school wasn’t easy. But drawing became my escape, my world — and soon, dragons, mermaids, unicorns, and all sorts of mystical creatures began to appear.
By high school, other kids were paying me to draw for them. In my small town, everyone knows that if they’ve got some odd, creative project in mind, they come to me. I may have to do some figuring, but I always find a way to make it real. I’ve painted on cars, trucks, pots, pans, paper, canvas, wood, metal, plastic — even murals. I love the challenge, but even more, I love the smiles that come after.
For years, dragons have found their way onto everything I own — so it just fits: I am DragonWoman. Now I’ve brought my mystical creatures to life in a series you’ll find here. My dream is to one day trade my Post Office job for a full-time life of art, creation, and dragons.
